Anger is a useful and necessary emotion when expressed at the right time, in the right place, for the right reasons and in an acceptable way.
Increasingly however, many people are recognising that anger is having a negative impact on their daily lives and leading to significant problems in the workplace – with work colleagues and possibly more importantly, with family members at home too. Maintaining that balance between our work and personal lives is getting ever more challenging and managing our emotions surrounding this issue is essential for our own health, wellbeing and performance.
Perhaps life is becoming a lot more stressful. With worries about money, job security, escalating costs and increasing demands on our time through work and family commitments, anger is becoming a problem for many individuals.
