ILM Level 3 Award In Effective Coaching Course Content

  • ‘Understanding good practice in workplace coaching’ covers the role of coaching, basic coaching processes and the abilities and qualities individuals need to be a good coach.
  • ‘Reflecting on workplace coaching skills’ will give learners tools to analyse and improve their own performance as a coach.
  • ‘Undertaking coaching in the workplace’ requires learners to plan and carry out at least six hours of coaching, with supervision and support.

This internationally-recognised qualification is accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management, the UK's leading awarding body for management training, so it will demonstrate conclusively to employers that you have the skills needed to excel in a senior coaching role.

How is the course assessed?

Delegates will be assessed through the completion of a written work-based assignment; completion of a coaching diary to record their workplace coaching sessions, and reflection on own personal learning and development as a coach.

For the Level 3 Award you are required to carry out at least six hours of coaching with supervision and support. Skills24 will provide you with the all the support and guidance necessary to complete your coaching diary and assignments confidently and competently.
